Hotel Salvators

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the hotel was spotless and in a great location, and the “honesty bar” (self‑serve towels and drinks where you note what you take and settle up at the end of your stay) was a very convivial and pleasant touch. We would have preferred everything in one room; the bedroom was on the upper floor (attic/mezzanine style), so going to the bathroom at night meant going downstairs again. With a 3½‑year‑old learning to use the toilet at night, that was really inconvenient. Also, the windows had no double glazing – in the mornings we could hear all the outside noise (I have a very light sleep, so it bothered me, but my partner did not have a light sleep).

“B&B Atelier”

The room was gorgeous, quiet, and tucked into a charming old town spot. The stylish décor made it feel like a good fit for a longer stay, and the shopping streets were right next door. Overall, a lovely place to unwind.

The location was fantastic and the staff were friendly, plus the common area was cozy. They let you drop off luggage before check‑in and after check‑out, which was handy. The attic room felt cramped and the narrow staircase was a bit claustrophobic, the bed was uncomfortable, and the bathroom’s glass door left little privacy.

“大聖堂を眺めながら、歴史を感じながら滞在できる”

The hotel’s proximity to the cathedral was super convenient, and the historic building made for a comfortable stay even if the space and amenities weren’t huge. The only let‑down was the small fridge—especially in hot weather and during a multi‑night stay, a two‑door freezer would have been a lifesaver. A larger shared freezer in the café area on the first floor might solve that.

“Prima verblijf voor een weekend Brugge”

Centrally located in the city center with a private parking spot, which was a big plus. The downside was the noise from traffic and the thin walls that let every sound through.
