The owners were friendly and helped with a stomach upset, letting us have a small breakfast in the room. They were very considerate about parking. The location was good, about 200 m from the sea, and the property was practically central. I have a fond memory of Mrs. Adele and Giorgia!
The building was too dated, leading to missing services. The air‑conditioning unit was placed next to the bed, causing intense cold instead of relief. The mattresses were very hard and the pillows were like stone, at least mine, which ruined my night’s rest and forced me to take medication. The linens were stained. The shower had a curtain without a lift, with a drain that flowed directly into the bathroom, making the bathroom unusable after each shower. The faucets were rusty. The lack of a fridge in the room seriously compromised our comfort. The temperatures were high, with no fresh water available or fresh fruit or a good ice cream to enjoy in the room. Breakfast was the same every week, with packaged sweets, but overall it was generous for those who like certain products. The service in the lounge was well managed, with two polite, friendly, and smiling young men who were very attentive to guests’ needs. Parking was a hassle; we found our car scratched in a cramped spot. The hotel is on a quiet side street but has an unpleasant sewer smell and a front façade that looks dilapidated, abandoned, and spectral. These are the critical points that are objective and not meant to judge, but we hope the owners will improve.
