I booked at the last minute, endured a horrendous drive in heavy rain and fog, and didn't realize I was in a ski resort until the owner met me outside in the rain and showed me a beautiful, comfy attic room – perfect. The day I could see where I was, the hotel was lovely, the bar area was great, and the ski lifts were a 50 m walk away, with stunning views.
