“Excellent room with an excellent restaurant on site”
The room was very clean and everything felt brand new. The pub’s downstairs restaurant is excellent. Nothing to complain about.

This property is a real gem: the rooms are cozy and comfortable, breakfast is excellent, the place is spotless, and the value is fantastic. The staff are genuinely kind and polite, and no request is too much trouble. The restaurant is outstanding with superb service. I would highly recommend it. There is absolutely nothing to dislike.

Lovely hotel. Comfortable room with nice shower. Staff in the morning made me a bacon sandwich as I had to leave early for work. I was 10 minutes early for breakfast and they made it for me before breakfast started at 830. I will stay here again next time I am up here for work. Nothing

Excellent breakfast and evening meal. Staff so willing and friendly. Great location for Beamish and Durham. Bedrooms very well appointed but could hear next door and restaurant when busy
