“Zeer fijn verblijf”
The place feels luxurious. The smell coming from the sewer was awful.
There was no vacuum cleaner, only a broom (the house is pet‑friendly). No umbrella or awning was provided.
We had a really pleasant stay. The cabin was truly amazing: clean, spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped with every convenience. We enjoyed it a lot. The campsite itself could use some attention. Several areas look a bit outdated and maintenance could improve. With a facelift and more focus on the facilities, the campsite would become much more appealing. Overall, the beautiful cabin gave us a nice stay, but we hope future investment will also target the campsite.
“Het was een zeer aangenaam verblijf.”
The cabin’s décor is cozy. The bed was not comfortable.
The cabins are modern, new, and very clean, offering everything needed for a comfortable stay: two bedrooms, a living area, a Smart TV, a nice bathroom with a separate shower, and a lovely terrace with a table overlooking the beautiful Alpine mountains. The swimming pool is free for guests, and there’s a children’s playground, making it a good choice for families. A supermarket in the nearby village is only about a 2‑minute drive away, which was very convenient. The location is good for exploring the area; the Alpine Coaster and the beautiful village of Lech am Arlberg are both around 35 minutes away. Lech am Arlberg, in particular, was a hidden gem of the Alps and definitely worth a visit. However, a few things could be improved. The cabins are very compact, with limited space to move around. I also didn’t like that we had to put the bed sheets and pillowcases on ourselves; considering how modern the cabins are and the price you pay, I would expect the beds to be ready upon arrival. There is only one AC unit, located in the living area, and unfortunately the cooling doesn’t really reach the bedroom, so on warm summer nights the bedroom can get uncomfortable. Some noise from the nearby highway can be heard, which detracts a little from the peaceful Alpine atmosphere. Another disappointing point is the lack of basic amenities: there wasn’t even hand soap in the bathroom, so I had to buy it myself. For accommodation costing around €300 per night, this is unacceptable; basic essentials like hand soap should be provided. I was also charged €10 at check‑out for a lost pool access card, which felt ridiculous for a simple electronic card that costs almost nothing to replace. It’s not just the €10 itself, but the principle and overall experience that left a negative impression. The biggest downside for me was the outdoor area: the pathways and internal roads are mostly gravel and really need proper paving. The landscaping and greenery also need much better maintenance and trimming; some areas simply feel unfinished, which really affects the overall look and feel of the place. It’s a shame because the cabins themselves are beautiful and modern, and the surrounding Alpine scenery is stunning.
