Marie‑Pierre Cueff is still a real host! No anonymous code sent by SMS… She joined me on my hikes along the GR34 and always made sure I had everything I needed, like a visit to dear relatives. No complaints.

The breakfast was spot‑on and perfectly matched our cravings, and the host went above and beyond to make us feel cared for, anticipating our needs and offering great tips on must‑see spots; we’d jump back in a heartbeat if we ever return to the area.

The rooms were huge in a very large house, giving us plenty of space, and the host was warm, friendly, attentive, and genuinely interested in us; we had a fantastic time, and the location in the big garden outside Plougoulm was very quiet.

A lovely, peaceful place to stay, just a short walk from the beach for an early morning swim, and Marie‑Pierre was a wonderful host who served a delightful breakfast of baguette, jam, croissants and yoghurt each morning—and even handed us a peach from her garden.
