The location was really great, right in the center with most sights within walking distance; from your room you can see Jiefangbei shopping street, and you should definitely visit the food street—there’s basically nothing to complain about considering the price.

“I like everything about the hotel except cigarette smoke.”

Polite staff always ready to help, and the hotel offers day tours so I didn't have to hunt for them. Breakfast went beyond the basics with noodles cooked to order, buns, dumplings, plus bread, eggs, and sausages. The room was spotless and the bed was super comfy. The location is spot on—many famous spots are just a stroll away. Still, I wouldn’t return because cigarette smoke was everywhere—room, lobby, hallways—so if you’re sensitive or allergic, this isn’t for you.

The spot is great, but the staff didn’t tell us the room had no window and couldn’t offer an alternative. I get the hotel was fully booked, yet that should have been mentioned at check‑in. Guests should also be asked about medical conditions or restrictions that might make a windowless room unsuitable.
