The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, and they welcomed us with a complimentary coconut drink and flower necklaces/braids, which we appreciated. Still, this was my sixth trip to the Philippines, and across Palawan, Manila, Iloilo, and Bohol I’ve stayed at many places; this turned out to be the most expensive property I’ve paid for in the country, yet it was also one of the most disappointing in quality and service. We chose it hoping for a step above our usual accommodations, but it fell short. The lush, green promotional photos promised a luxurious tropical setting, but the reality was dry yellow‑brown lawns and grounds that seemed neglected. It looked like only one gardener was keeping a very large property, an impossible task for one person. The property clearly needs serious renovation. From the moment we arrived, the reception building gave a poor first impression: rundown appearance, dirty windows, and external walls stained with bird droppings. The bathroom looked decades old and never updated. The bedsheets had holes, and most concerning, we woke up with bites that appeared to be from bedbugs. The swimming pool, which looked inviting in the photos, was another letdown; in person it didn’t feel appealing, so we avoided it entirely. The pool area lacked basic amenities—no lounge chairs, sunbeds, or parasols. The beach was narrow, not maintained, with visible debris washed ashore and no effort to keep it clean. Overall, despite the staff’s kindness, the entire atmosphere felt neglected and somewhat depressing. For the price charged, this experience fell far below expectations.

“Das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis stimmte absolut nicht.”

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und versucht sein Bestes zu geben, aber die Unterkunft ist sehr heruntergekommen, besonders das Bad. Es gibt kein funktionierendes WLAN, und das Personal ist für internationale Gäste leider nicht geschult, obwohl die Chefin und Mitinhaberin lange Zeit im Ausland gelebt hat.

Fantastiska pool villor. Bra pool på resortet och restaurang. Trevlig personal. Detta resort rekommenderas. I Narra finns det genuina Filippinska livet att uppleva utan en massa turister och barer. Internet är ibland ostabilt
