The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, but the bathroom had no hot water.

The dorm was nice, with a berth that had good closing curtains for privacy, free hot drinking water, a pleasant common area, and small hostel visitor activities; the garden was very cozy and serene for hanging out. The only downside was that the toilet paper could be changed more often, and because rickshaws are expensive in Ooty and scooty rentals are prohibited, it’s best to bring a vehicle; otherwise it’s just a 10min walk to the nearest bus stop.
