“I would stay there again mainly for the convenient location but will make sure I book rooms in the new wing”

Right in front of Jaffna railway station, super convenient. Rooms are roomy and beds comfy. The on‑site restaurant serves good food. Bathrooms were poorly maintained: the toilet‑roll holder fell off, the sink still had hair, shower walls were dirty with noticeable soap residue, and hair clung to the drain. Restaurant service was slow and some orders were missed.

The spot is super handy if you’re taking the train, and the staff were spot on. My room was in the old wing—slightly dated but spotless. The breakfast spread was the best I’ve had, and everything at the restaurant tasted great. Overall, great bang for your buck.

Breakfast was solid and the location works well, but the place struggled to handle the crowds, especially at breakfast and dinner.

Breakfast was fantastic, and the room itself was fine. However, the cleanliness could use a boost; there was dust in the drawer and on other pieces of furniture.
