“Hidden fee for jacuzzi/hot tab. LOTS of flies. Disappointing.”
The cottage was freshly renovated, offered a lake view, good heating (air conditioner and electric heater), a big jacuzzi, a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a parking spot right next to the cottage, fresh bed linen and towels, and a nearby restaurant for breakfast and dinner. However, I had to pay an extra 100 € for the jacuzzi—a fee that wasn’t disclosed during booking or at the Sokos reception, even though Sokos lists it on their website, and the exact amount isn’t stated. When we arrived, dozens of flies—both large and small banana flies—were everywhere and we couldn’t get rid of them for the rest of our stay, which was very annoying. The jacuzzi instructions were unclear; two buttons are oddly placed on the back and not easy to find. There was also very little wood for the fireplace, not enough for a three‑night stay.
