“Comfortable haven to escape bad weather in the Vosges.”

I was cruising the Vosges on a motorcycle when the weather soured, so I pulled into the nearest inn. The place sat on the edge of a tiny village, surrounded by nothing, and it was wet and misty both when I arrived and when I left the next morning. Luckily the heating worked, so I could dry my bike gear, and there was an in‑house restaurant because there was nowhere else to eat. The rooms were comfy and came with a coffee machine, which was a nice perk. The only downside was the bathroom: an old 90s pink tub, a separate toilet without a washbasin. The restaurant offered a set menu that I didn’t find particularly tasty—just average. I didn’t have breakfast, so I can’t comment on that.

“Havre de paix et superbe accueil”

Even though I checked in late, the manager was there and very welcoming. The place feels warm and is very clean, with complimentary water bottles in the room and good air‑conditioning. It’s a peaceful haven! The heated pool is gorgeous and the food is excellent. I’d recommend it and plan to return for a vacation.

“week end a la campagne”

I really enjoyed the pool; it’s simply outstanding, which is rare for a Vosges facility. I also want to highlight the host’s seriousness and professionalism—shout‑out to William. The baldinkins are a real plus. The breakfast is exceptional as well. I highly recommend it! Honestly, nothing could be better—paradise right at the gates of Gérardmer, next to Frais Pertuis.
