The Ikar Plaza hotel is located in Kołobrzeg, 100 metres from the sandy beach. It features a spa centre with indoor and outdoor pools, and offers various body and facial treatments. Rooms are bright, decorated with warm colours, and come with a balcony, seating area, and LCD TV. A hot tub, saunas, and fitness centre are available, along with a playground, play room, and on-site restaurant.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the parking was onsite, the hotel sits close to the beach, and there’s a pool on the premises. A doctor was also available, and there were various treatments—though we didn’t try them due to limited time. The chill‑out areas were nice, the breakfasts were very good and varied, and you could buy lunch and dinner on the ground floor or dine on the first floor at reasonable prices and tasty meals. Elevators operate on the property. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and will definitely return, especially for running events. The only drawback was the absence of tea bags and sugar in the room’s brewing kit.

Everything you need for a stay with small children is available, including a playroom and a pool; the sea is very close. The food is excellent. The staff were not very pleasant; they didn’t speak English, and Czech/Polish communication was only possible with a few people.

The hotel is okay, but it’s past its prime. The rooms need renovation.
