“Établissement à éviter”

Zero out of twenty, it feels more like a closet than a room – about 2 m long, 80 cm wide, with two bunk beds at the bottom. The curtains are pulled by old door handles that have been removed and sealed, making it impossible to see outside. The air conditioning does work, but there’s mold everywhere, especially in the “bathroom” which looks disgusting. The photos speak for themselves. I travel by bike and have stayed in many hotels and guesthouses, but this one is the worst I’ve seen. The paint is moldy, the bed is ruined with springs exposed, the tap is rusted, and the concrete walls are half-polished gray, hiding the filth. It’s pathetic to promote such a place. I booked a non‑refundable week in this “closet” and had to ask for new towels, sheets, and two water bottles upon arrival, with nothing else provided. It’s not two stars, it’s zero, bordering on closure for unsanitary conditions. The “room” has a TV, AC, a hair dryer, a broken paper dispenser, and a disgusting mess. I repeat: see the photos. It’s a shame only four photos are allowed.

The room was clean and easy to find food nearby, but there was no parking and the entrance road felt a bit narrow.

It was well located, but the mold smell was hard to tolerate.

I first booked a single night and then added six more; I rate it nine out of ten—already great—everything is clean and tidy, though there is no small refrigerator, and the staff are friendly and smile.
