A 20‑minute boat ride reaches Pulau Rhu, while Pulau Perhentian is an hour away.

bilik ok saja. tak syok tentang luar tu aje-laluan ke bilik-jalan masuk becak, berpasir, tidak bertar. malam tiada lampu, gelap dan berbahaya sebab tiada pengawal keselamatan. scary. ank2 kami semua takut waktu malam

The rooms are spacious, but the entrance road to the building gets very dark at night and isn’t paved. When it rains, water pools up, and the back entrance lacks lighting. There’s no security guard, the bathroom water is stagnant, the curtains are old and dusty, and the installation looks sloppy.

First off, the receptionist was awful, lying and haughty. The place is far from the town, but the beach is a short walk away with a few beach bars to eat and drink. When we arrived, they didn’t even help with our luggage and made us believe the Wi‑Fi would reach the rooms, which never happened. Breakfast and the chef were okay, but it was basically the same every day. The rooms were filthy, with cockroaches and dust—absolutely revolting. Over the five nights we stayed, they changed the towels and made the bed only once. The cleaning was terrible, there was no green pool (they cleaned it later), no hammocks, and not even a sad chair to sit on. I would never return. I didn’t like anything: it was dirty, disgusting, depressing, and the staff were horrible.

The facilities were in bad shape. I found a cockroach in my room, and the pools were dirty and slimy. The breakfast area was let‑down, with dust on the tables, buffet counter, and cutlery, and the handwashing area was also very dirty.
