The location and staff were good, but the room was not appealing.

The hotel was easy to reach, clean, and the staff friendly, but the pillows were extremely high, and the Chromecast didn’t work, so the TV was unusable.

The service was great: I complained that the slanted roof made it impossible to stand upright next to my side of the bed, so they immediately gave me a new room. In the new room the TV didn’t work, apparently because a previous guest had unplugged the power cord and cut the antenna wire—maybe out of unfounded fear of being spied on? We were moved again. Transport to and from Amersfoort was very convenient thanks to the nearby bus 56 stop and excellent transfer options at Central Station. The restaurant was good and the breakfast was fine. The room upgrade I booked gave me a room that was less favorable because of the slanted ceiling.
