The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The room and bathroom were clean, the bed comfortable and the TV worked (Netflix was available). Breakfast was tasty and freshly prepared, though it’s worth mentioning in advance if you need vegetarian or vegan options. Overall, a decent stopover on the way, with a reasonable commute. I didn’t expect the accommodation to feel exactly like Grandma’s house; I stayed on a floor and had to pass through the hosts’ rooms, I didn’t get a key to the room, and the host opened the door without a shirt. The host served breakfast in her own kitchen, and there was no signboard, so the place felt a bit suspicious.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I could order a truly homemade, fresh meal cooked by the host: pierogi, chłodnik, Ukrainian borscht, a wild‑style pie, pork bites, meatballs, and compote—all delicious.

The breakfast was delicious, served by the owner who could accommodate requests on demand instead of within set time slots, which is a big plus each day. She offered options rather than imposing what we would get, unlike other places. The only slight downside was the shared bathroom, but it was hassle‑free, and there was nothing to sit at the table, so I had to write on my laptop on my knees.
