The location is great, though very hard to find because there are no exterior signs. The price is 20 euros per night. There is no soap in the showers or toilets. The showers are not very practical and there is no place to put your belongings.

The Italian girl who welcomed us was great, but the place was in terrible disarray—especially the courtyard, which looks like it hasn't been touched in decades.

Valentina was a super host and the location was fine, yet everything else was a nightmare: 75% of the doors I touched were broken, including the bedroom, shower, bathroom, and fridge doors; there were no toilet seats, paper towels, soap, or even toilet paper; hot water for washing dishes was missing; many guests had colds, snorts, spit, sniffles, runny noses, or were sick in bed; the fridges were a mess and broken; we wanted to leave but the town was fully booked, so we were stuck in a filthy, sanitary mess that never got repaired.

The staff were very friendly, the location was great—close to Place de la République and a 24‑hour supermarket—and the basement room had comfortable air‑conditioning, was clean and quiet, even though a window opened onto the hotel’s terrace. The kitchen offered free coffee and tea, the outdoor area was nice, and I’d definitely return. However, there was humidity in the room that only the AC could manage, and one of the two basement bathrooms had mold.
