The spot was central, the mattress was firm, the shower delivered plenty of hot water, and the balcony looked out over the square. It could be a bit noisy because it sits above the main square—earplugs help.

A lovely hotel tucked inside the courtyard of an Armenian church; I didn’t expect it to be so engaging. Read the church’s history—there’s a view of the temple and the city from the room. It’s in the city center, the location is perfect. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy.
