“A gorgeous ecolodge with incredible service and food”

The lodge feels truly special, an ecolodge where the staff are the warmest, kindest people I've met, offering personal attention at every turn. The forest setting is gorgeous and the birds are incredible—I spotted ten new species in the first twelve hours, including Palawan hornbills that hang out at the lodge every night. Tokay geckos roam the restaurant at night, huge and spectacular. The restaurant food is exceptional; I ordered lemon garlic shrimp three nights in a row and we tried every appetizer, all loved, while others in our group enjoyed mango chicken and grilled fish. Breakfasts are amazing, and the food alone guarantees you'll love it. The tents are huge, comfortable, and well laid out. Four shared bathrooms are each large and lovely, with a shower, toilet, and sink. Communal areas—dining room, lounge, pool area, and a nice firepit—provide relaxing spots. We did the island hopping snorkeling trip, which was wonderful and far better than El Nido. The next day we returned to the best snorkeling spot, guided by Julius, whose photos of clownfish, anemone, and coral made my own pictures look rubbish. The coral and fish were astonishing. We also did a guided hike up the mountain behind the lodge, a two‑hour round trip that’s rugged; good shoes are a must. We were only here three days but will definitely return for a longer stay.

“A wonderful unique stay with amazing food.”

Parada is a unique place to stay; communication with the hosts was wonderful, and they accommodated a date change due to personal circumstances, which we appreciated. The location is great, and the hosts and staff were lovely. Nothing was a problem. The tents were luxurious, with a good fan that kept the hot day comfortable and was fine at night. Showers were good and the food amazing. It was a really lovely stay—only reason it isn’t a 10 is that there was no beach right in front of the resort; you had to walk a little to find the sand. It was pretty perfect except for the walk to the beach; we loved our time there.

“Super schöne Insel, wahnsinnig nettes Personal, super Erlebnis!”

The stay was mega! The island and camp feel like a movie set. Ellen and her team are super nice and helpful, the food is mega, and the transfer is super organized. I’d book anytime again. If you want peace and no bustle, that’s the spot. They even have a small fitness corner. Very recommendable!

A haven of peace on a paradisiacal island, a team that takes care of every detail, hammocks by the water, the pool, delicious cocktails, the campfire, adorable dogs… everything is set up to feel in a little corner of paradise. Everything was super! I give 9/10 because perfection doesn’t exist and there’s always room for improvement.
