“Reasonable, clean, and convenient”
The place sits in a nice area for a fair price and stays pretty quiet. If you just need a spot to stash your stuff and catch some sleep, this is it. I’m not saying the hostel is bad, but someone had an alarm clock blaring nonstop during the day, which was annoying while I was trying to work. That’s just a person issue, not a hostel problem. I didn’t have any other problems, though there’s only one shower, so you might have to wait. Also, you have to punch a code to get into the hostel and your room if you’re in a single, which can be a hassle but maybe keeps people from getting wasted.
“Afforable, great price for kyoto, friendly staff”
Located in Gion, close to the east side of Tokyo and the shrines, but a 10‑15 minute walk from the train station. The front‑door staff were friendly. It’s a common spot for international travelers. There’s a karaoke bar downstairs, but earplugs were supplied. The hostel vibe can vary depending on who’s staying, but I had a good time with the other occupants.
“Para pasar una noche en una zona céntrica de Kyoto”
The place is small but very pleasant, the person who works there is very kind, and the location is great. There was a lot of dust in the room, and the mattress was very hard, but otherwise it was fine.
Convenient spot and spotless.
“Tiny accomodation in a good location.”
Good location. In Kyoto you get what you pay for, and that wasn’t much. The place is tiny—my studio was only 2 by 2.5 meters. I’ve seen bigger office cubicles. The basic board bed with a thin futon was pretty hard. If you can afford more, spend it elsewhere.
