Breakfast was great! The dining area was beautiful, the food felt like home cooking, and the sausage gravy and biscuits were delicious, among many other tasty dishes.

The staff were wonderful and very, very helpful, we loved the room, very homey and comfortable, but I use a wheelchair and can only walk a few short distances with help; we always check listings for elevators, yet we were assigned a room upstairs and there were no other options, so my husband had to help me climb the stairs to our room.

The history and the very nice room were great, but the flood wall, not the hotel's fault, obscures the view of the river.
