The location was good, the staff were very friendly, and the room was nice. The coffee machine in the hallway was poorly positioned – if a guest used it at 6.30 am, everyone else woke up.

Right in the centre of the historic city core yet a quiet haven, the charming Munich host made our stay an experience; the view of the small sports harbour and bay was sensational, and the gently lapping waves against the wall put us straight into holiday mode. The facilities left no room for wishes – large, bright rooms with everything you need. The museums, the picturesque harbour and the Shelburnes promenade were within walking distance.

The location was beautiful, the host was communicative and lovely, the room was large, immaculate and parking was easy. Four other rooms on the same floor meant you could hear people coming and going, but that wasn’t a problem.

Friendly welcome and reasonable price, but the stay was too short – we’d have liked to stay longer.
