I’ve stayed at this place many times over the last 25 years while my late husband was on a national board that met quarterly in NYC, and I love how close it is to 5th Avenue, Broadway, and the museums. The hotel sits on 44th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues, which is exactly the block I consider my own in the city.

Everything! It was hard to get there by car because 6th Ave was closed for a street fair. It was very difficult to find it since Google Maps didn’t recognize it.

A stunning iconic hotel, super comfy and the service was top‑class. No complaints at all.

The spot was spot‑on, close to events and transit. Everyone from the front desk to the bar and housekeeping was friendly, helpful and on hand, which was fantastic. The room stayed spotless, and the bed and linens were a dream. I appreciated that the historic décor had been preserved over the years.
