The hotel looks good and the price‑to‑value ratio is solid—nothing expensive for what you receive. The rooms felt very damp, so the sheets were cold to the touch; the air‑conditioning helped a bit but the air stayed stale, which is a shame.

This place is cozy and pleasant; you can walk around the nearby area, and a taxi will take you to the city centre. It’s a nice spot to unwind for a few days—looking forward to returning.

Nice, quiet location with good views on Luwuk. Comfy bed with clean sheets, good working AC, very friendly staff, free airport transfer. The hotel is very run down, complete lack of maintenance, rooms are worn out and not clean, extensive breakfast but only indonesian options. We stayed in Estrella 5 years ago, then it was a vibrant hotel, not anymore. They keep 1 rabbit in a cage in the heat
