Breakfast was good, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the beers were cheap. The shower pressure was low.

The staff were amazing, couldn’t have done more for us. It’s an old property, with all its quirks, but the room was very comfy, the food was great and the staff were amazing.

Everything about the stay – room, food, friendly, welcoming, staff amazing – was perfect. Nothing was wrong.

A local pub with good facilities. The staff were friendly and the food was fine. It was very convenient for walking the Cleveland Way. Our room overlooked the front entrance, which was a bit noisy at times, but it was all quiet by 10 pm.
