The breakfast was hearty and well supplied, the room was simple yet fairly comfortable, and most of the staff were friendly and welcoming; the dining area was nicely decorated and arranged. However, there was a strong damp smell in the ground‑floor rooms, possibly due to limited window opening or a dirty air‑conditioner filter; the recent paint in the room made me wonder if it was a cheap cover‑up.

“I’ll never forget that comfortable bed.”

The hotel was clean, modern, and had the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in during five decades of traveling. It’s a basic hotel, but the room was smaller and more sparse than I expected; I would have liked to know I needed to book a dinner slot beforehand, because the available slot was too late for me. The breakfast croissants were not fresh.
