“Weekend visit to one of the most beautiful coastal towns in the world”

Fantastic location walkable to everywhere in Mendocino. Charming, clean rooms with very comfortable beds. Absolutely amazing breakfasts and customer service. Ian and Kim are truly exceptional at creating a welcoming stay and so helpful. All Ian’s recommendations in food and activities were 10/10 as are the cooking/baking recipes we enjoyed in the morning. The hosts were lovely and attentive, and the breakfast was great—delicious food all cooked from scratch by the host, so yummy and heartwarming. We’ll definitely return for another stay and highly recommend them!

“Expensive considering the issues described”

The central location and welcoming staff were positives, yet we stayed in the ‘Shed’, an outhouse in the garden that smelled damp; the bathroom had many pill bugs we had to remove from the shower and floor, and there were someone else’s long, dark hairs in the shower cubicle. I messaged the property about these issues via Booking after our stay and did not receive a reply.

“Location was lovely. Room was not”

The house was cute and the location great, but the room was incredibly small, very dated and tired, the mattress awful, and the garden in the back neglected.
