The view was very pleasant, and the cleaning staff were available and friendly, helping me whenever needed. The experience fell far below expectations. The shower base was dirty and unhygienic. The old air conditioning made a lot of noise, ruining sleep. Reception was rarely staffed, and contacting the hotel was very difficult, even by phone. A major issue was the invoice issuance. I requested it through Booking, by e‑mail and by message, never receiving a reply. I asked again at check‑out and was told to fill a form to get it. This is unacceptable; the invoice should be issued when requested, not after repeated insistence. Overall, the stay was marred by cleaning, maintenance and customer service failures.

Incredible views, comfortable and clean. The place is very quiet and special, with very pleasant staff. I don’t give it a 10 because of the negative points. There were many ants in the room. They gave us insecticide that removed the problem to some extent, but the property is literally at the foot of the Guadiana, so I understand it’s a hard issue to solve.
