“Als Zwischenstop auf dem Weg akzeptabel”

As expected, it was a simple hotel, more like a motel, probably meant for construction workers, very basic; the breakfast, however, was surprisingly generous and tasty. Despite the scheduled arrival time, we had to wait longer for the staff to show up, who seemed to come straight from their own rooms and were a bit “muffled.” It was confusing why we didn’t receive a better‑located room even with low occupancy, and the two couples traveling with us weren’t given rooms next to each other. Overall, tolerable for a one‑night stay.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly, true to the North’s vibe, but the bed was too tight against the wall, leaving no space to move.

The bedding was good and the staff were kind, yet like all Campanile hotels in France, the rooms are aging and would benefit from a refresh; there was no water fountain to refill bottles.

Very clean, towels changed over two nights, and the staff were friendly.

The mattress was good, but the bathroom remote was broken, the bathroom itself was unclean, the shower button was hard to reach, and the sink tap was awkward.
