Witham Grange Glamping

The site was nice and well presented, and it was close to everything you would need 👌, but we couldn’t have an open fire; however, the grass around was still dry from summer so understandable.

The camp’s location and the comfort of the beds were great, and the pods set up for eating were handy, but we had to walk to the facilities, although we did have a private bathroom.

The views were amazing, the place was quiet, relaxing, and a peaceful night away, but there was a minor confusion about our location for the night and an incorrect tent, which was soon resolved.

The landscaping was good, the place was clean, the proprietor was friendly and kind, and they were understanding about our late arrival due to a car breakdown, yet the bathroom facilities were clean but had no hot water at the sink, the lighting in the Wigwam glamping pod was poor, and a candle was a concern in the accommodation, so it wasn’t used for safety.

“Nice little getaway.”

I liked how close the kitchen block was, but there was a little road noise from the A1, and the toilet block was too far from the tents.
