The air‑conditioner was ancient and visibly moldy, which made the room smell stale, and there was no staff on site—nothing at 4 pm for check‑in, nothing at 6 pm in the evening, and no one in the morning either. It felt like a remotely managed motel and was the worst place I’ve stayed at in three months in the USA.

The location is perfect—you can step out of your room and see the mountains, though we missed breakfast because the office was closed.
