“veramente bello, in contatto con la natura.”
The staff were very kind.
The host was very friendly and helpful. The bed and bathroom were comfortable, and the breakfast was good. No complaints.
“Noch schön, aber nicht so schön wie beschrieben.”
The host was very friendly and earnest. The place was cozy and individually decorated. The equipment was good with a very quiet fan and air conditioner, a Smart‑TV with apps. Some details and photos don’t match. There is no whirlpool, no bar or café, no desk, and no coffee machine in the room. All food photos are more wishful than real. Breakfast was sparse: only toast, one type of cheese, one type of sausage (always the same). Waffles, pancakes, and store‑bought cakes were available. Once there was something fresh: cocktail tomatoes. The owner’s page shows photos of fried eggs with bacon, which would have been nice. Cleanliness was okay; the floor wasn’t swept and a bit dusty. The first room service came after five days. After four days the toilet paper ran out, and we borrowed from the neighboring room (we were four and had booked two rooms). Overall, it seemed the house was run with more passion in the past.
The house is lovingly and quirky decorated, but you shouldn’t look too closely at the corners and it urgently needs some renovation. The host was very friendly and helpful, clearly trying hard for his guests. For the price and a short stop at Lago Maggiore, it was acceptable. The house was damp and had a slightly musty smell. Breakfast was a bit sparse, but for Italians who only want sweets, it was probably fine. We would have liked at least a small breakfast seat.
“Noch schön, aber nicht so schön wie beschrieben.”
We were four, booked two rooms—see our other review. The shower was broken (the door was missing), and the bathroom door couldn’t be opened (it stuck to the floor) or closed (it was too wide for the frame). Otherwise see our other review.
