Daleen, our host, was very professional and stayed in touch throughout our trip to the property; we loved the luxurious ambience of the place.
“The perfect stop between Joburg and Kruger”
The accommodation was beautifully and comfortably furnished. From the moment we booked, Daleen made us feel right at home. No major detour was needed to reach this quiet, tranquil spot, and the dinner was magnificent and romantic, served beside an open‑air fireplace. They delivered more than we expected and set us up for the final leg of our journey. Thank you! The only complaint is the tiny frog in the bathroom—though we didn’t notice it, it added to the charm.

The rooms were very spacious, the view was amazing, and the accommodation was beautifully decorated. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, and the host Daleen gave a fantastic welcome, ending with a hug. Absolutely a must‑stay on your trip to Kruger.

What a fantastic stay – the site outside Ohrigstad offered sweeping views of the farms and a lovely garden. My room was big and airy, with a wonderful bed and an exceptionally spacious bathroom. Dinner was superb, prepared by Dareen, the hostess, who even lit a fire outside so I could eat under the stars. I was joined by two friendly South African citrus traders, which turned the evening into an unexpected, delightful storytelling session. Breakfast was solid, and I only wish I could have stayed more than one night. The place and its surroundings are beautiful; I hope to return on a future trip to Kruger Park and spend more than a single night. The only drawback was the access road from the four‑lane highway, which has deep potholes in places, making night driving inadvisable.
Staying here was the ideal launchpad for the Panorama Route, and the two nights gave us the chance to truly unwind. Maleen and her team treated us like royalty with a warm welcome, delicious meals and a cozy campfire. The location couldn’t be better.
