Ingenious balconies (two, each facing a different view) with a rooftop kitchen. Wide view over the town with sea sight. The living space was very hot, hardly coolable. The fan offered some relief, but the air‑conditioning was off.

The bedroom was cramped, with a small 40x40 window at about 3 m height, two nightstands, and a cabinet. There were no reading lamps beside the bed. The TV didn’t work for four days, which I complained about on day one. I was told to eat and enjoy the area instead of watching TV.

Close to the old town. It’s a shared kitchen, so its condition depends on other tenants. There’s no kettle in the room. The bathroom is basic. It’s expensive for what’s offered, except for the location.

“Expensive for what it was, misleading booking information on booking.com”

Very basic, but has everything you need. When booking, the room description explicitly states “sea view” and “terrace.” This was not only in the main listing but also for the room itself. We were disappointed to find no view and no terrace upon arrival. The manager dismissed it as our fault, claiming a sea view and terrace are shared among all guests. We had specifically booked a place with a view and terrace because I’m six months pregnant and need a lot of rest, yet still wanted to enjoy the location. We arrived too late to change accommodations, so we stayed one night and left the next day. There was also no toilet paper.

“10/10 stay! Would recommend to anyone”

The location was perfect – quiet yet close to all the restaurants and bars Lagos offers. Walking to the beach is doable, the nearest being a 15‑minute walk. The balcony in our room was amazing, with stunning city views; it was nice to relax and read there. Finally, Rita was fantastic! She was very helpful and gave us plenty of advice on what to do around the city. :)
