Hotel Acosta Vetonia

The dinner in the restaurant bar offered a good value for money, but despite booking three months in advance I was given a ground‑floor room overlooking the parking lot that smelled of smoke; all my complaints were met with the explanation that the first floor was full (even though I had booked early) and they moved me again to the ground floor. For anyone following the Plata trail I would advise against it because you first have to leave the street to reach Almandrejo, then walk another 3 km to the village, and yet another 3 km to reach the hotel, which sits at the end of the village just before the highway entrance.

The location was great, but maintenance was lacking.

The facilities were solid, the restaurant was very good, basic but with classic food at a very good price. The rooms were spacious and had a nice terrace.

“Sorprendentemente bien”

I never realized there was a pool until I arrived after a grueling three‑day work trip; it was a lifesaver from all the stress. The room was spacious and the price was very reasonable, so it was great.
