“Great hotel for young and old”
The hotel deserves its 4* Superior award. Our Superior double was spacious with two comfortable double beds, high‑quality cool linen and soft towels. There were roomy wardrobes, a kettle with tea/coffee/milk sachets, a small fridge, and a great bathroom with an excellent shower. We were on floor 13 and never had to wait more than 2 minutes for a lift, and there are plenty of lifts. The food was really, really good with lots to choose from. A buffet is for choice, not about liking and eating everything. We had lunch instead of dinner one day and it was excellent too. Drink prices were about the same as outside the hotel and much cheaper than in the UK. Our two grandchildren, ages 7 and 11, were there with their parents, and it was hard to pull them away from the clean and varied pools and the daytime kids’ facilities. We didn’t stay for the evening entertainment, so I can’t comment, but I’m sure those who did enjoyed it. The hotel is in a good location in the old town. If you turn left instead of right outside the hotel, the walk will take you to steps that descend to the lovely park where the old bullring is and to areas for children to play. We have been to Benidorm many times and there is lots to explore in the old town. The welcome we received was warm, and everyone throughout our stay always had a smile. All the staff seem very happy to work there. Nothing to dislike. The hotel provides the highest standards and facilities.
