The city is nice and easily reachable. It felt worn out, and there was a lot of noise from the water pipes.

A roomy flat built with traditional wooden construction, offering every facility needed for a comfortable stay. The location feels safe, and a supermarket right next door supplies all cooking essentials, including Asian items, which was a big plus. The visit was great overall, though if you’re not driving, you’ll need to take a 20‑minute bus from Flam to get here.

“short and sweet, we used it on route to see the country side.”

It was a good place to cook our own food, and a well stocked shop next door helped cut costs since Norway is twice the price of England. The shopkeeper was a Liverpool supporter… but he gave us great local walking tips and routes.

The place provided a tranquil atmosphere and plenty of nature, but it’s very far from any shops, villages, or bars.
