The place was probably the best part, especially since the train station was only a 5‑minute bus ride away. The neighborhood had an Italian feel and cafés were reasonably priced. The room was fairly clean, which I consider a baseline. The staff were responsive, another baseline for a decent stay. However, the description was misleading: the room was advertised with a balcony, but it turned out to be a shared external walkway, not a private spot to relax. The bed was too narrow for two people—fine for one, but cramped and uncomfortable for a pair. The shower was broken and leaked from several spots on the hose. The air conditioner behaved oddly and didn’t seem to reach the set temperature. Basic facilities were scarce: no Wi‑Fi, no kettle, no cups or dishes. The room only had towels, a small shower gel, and basic bathroom supplies. Mosquitoes were plentiful in the evening, and the room offered no repellent or plug‑in device, so we had to handle them ourselves.
