Pata de Perro Bacalar sits in central Bacalar, less than 300 m from the lagoon’s shore and opposite the park. Light‑coloured, rustic suites and apartments feature kitchenettes, private or shared bathrooms, and garden views. The property offers free Wi‑Fi, a shared kitchen, a tour desk, and nearby cycling and snorkeling. Chetumal is 35 min away; Cancún, 40 min flight.

The location, staff and rooms were good. Nothing else.

Everything fit perfectly here! The rooms were spacious, clean, and the kitchen was well equipped with free drinking water. The staff were always very friendly. The location is ideal for exploring Bacalar. The only thing that could be improved is the outdoor area; we missed a place to sit together outside comfortably.

It’s okay for a single night, but I wouldn’t recommend staying longer. The place is unattractive for the price. I was assigned a room that always faced a restaurant with music until 12 am; I asked the reception man to change me because I had to work, but he refused, even though there was always an empty room at the back. The place has a dense energy. I don’t recommend staying more than one night.
