The old house was gorgeous, the garden was fantastic, and the host and his mother were friendly and served a tasty breakfast.

The place sits right in downtown Gabrovo, within walking distance of restaurants, cafés and parks, and the building is kept in great shape. Having its own parking was a big plus. The breakfast was decent and nicely arranged, but there are plenty of better options nearby for a lower price. It was just coffee or tea, yogurt, and we tried a fried dough called Mekitsa with watermelon.

The owners were very welcoming, and the homemade breakfast was a highlight. If you want a pleasant stay in central Gabrovo, this place is the one.

We had a wonderful stay and will come back. The host was fantastic, checking in every day to see if we needed anything. The breakfast was thoughtfully prepared each morning, the room was spotless, and the location was excellent. Highly recommend.
