The Skye Bridge Hotel

The breakfast was good and plentiful, but the rooms were a bit old and could use renovation; nevertheless, the staff were delightful and kind, and the rooms were still comfortable. The small quadruple room was for four people.

“Basic hotel, maar goede ligging voor het bezoeken van Einleen Castle en The Isle of Sky”

Het personeel is erg aardig en behulpzaam. Misschien goed te weten dat je ter plekke ontbijt kan bijboeken. Er is geen keuken voor avond eten. De restaurants in de omgeving zijn maar heel kort open en het is handig om daar van te voren te reserveren. Je kan ook eten halen bij de Italiaan of Chinees (allebei van goede kwaliteit) en het met een wijntje of biertje in de bar van het hotel opeten. Heel fijn dat dat kon want wij hadden geen restaurant gereserveerd dus hebben elke keer eten afgehaald. Wij hadden met 4 volwassenen een familie kamer. Die is basic en niet groot, dus minimaal bagage meenemen naar de kamer. Bedden zijn schoon. Het tweepersoonsbed is niet echt breed maar dat is eigenlijk in de meeste hotels in Schotland zo. Vinden ze blijkbaar knus denk ik. In Nederland word deze maat een twijfelaar genoemd. Auto parkeren is geen enkel probleem. De familie kamer was wel erg klein, maar voor twee nachten is dat geen probleem

“A lot of money for a run down 1*hotel”

The staff were friendly and the location was good for the bridge across to Skye, but the interior and exterior needed a tidy up and repair, and there was a very strong smell of air freshener everywhere.

The room was nice and modern with good space, but there was no lift for us on the 3rd floor and we had to walk a long way to the end of the corridor with our bags.

“Décevant et insalubre”

The location was good, but the room was disgusting: hair in the shower, blood stains on the sheets, walls full of mold spots, and stains on the carpet. Totally unacceptable for the price.
