“Central, clean and comfortable”

I liked how central it was; the apartment was a decent size and cozy, and staying by the pool was super convenient. The bath water pressure was spot‑on, the place was spotless, and the beds were fairly comfortable. On the downside, it was very noisy, every door squeaked, mornings echoed with footfall, and a bit of carpet or furniture in the hallways might have helped; plus the kitchen had no coffee machine.

“Local bom mas conforto de camas é muito mau”

Everything was in a good spot and the staff were excellent, but the beds were awful. The whole place felt flimsy and the double bed was terrible; the mattress and headboards were weak, making it a nightmare to rest. The check‑in notice didn’t mention that you had to go to Monte Gordo to pick up the key and pay for a taxi because of the lack of information, adding to the bad nights caused by the bed and mattress.

“Boa experiência”

Despite a few minor issues, the overall experience was good. The pool was nice for the kids, the staff were very friendly, and the location was excellent, close to everything. Unfortunately, even after calling months earlier, we didn’t get a double bed; the sofa bed was two separate beds. The floor cleaning was always lacking – we arrived to a dirty floor, and the daily cleaning didn’t reach under the table or around the sofa. Though a coffee machine was listed in the amenities, it wasn’t there, and a toaster and other basic utensils were missing. The Wi‑Fi signal didn’t even reach the rooms, which is odd given it’s advertised. The place was not two bedrooms but one bedroom with a living room and a sofa bed.
