There were plenty of snacks, coffee, and tap water, and the gas fireplace warmed the room quickly on cool mornings and evenings. The coffee was excellent, especially the option to grind your own beans for a pot or use a pod for a single cup. We made good use of the free pastry coupons from a nearby shop. Another nice feature was the clear labeling of appliances—like the tiny dimmer slider beside the light switch and the note on the coffee bean can explaining how to release and restore pressure—making modern gadgets easy to use. The towels in the bathroom were among the nicest. However, be careful of the tables in front of the couch; their thin, sharp edges can cut you, which I discovered when getting up from the couch in the dark. The bathroom sink is small but functional for the space.
