“Not "Glamping", But Bare Minimum, Including Communal Toilet Block”
The owner was kind and gave a nice continental breakfast, but the rest fell short. The place is actually a cluster of wooden huts, not lodges, with a shared toilet/shower block and a common room that has a kitchen for heating food only, not cooking. The sink is outside, so rain is a problem. The BBQ area and common spaces are messy and full of weeds. Parking is awkward under trees, so the car ended up covered in bird poo. Our hut door had three sections that didn’t seal properly, security was poor, and there was no space for a regular suitcase. A communal hand towel was left near the toilet basin. We didn’t stay the full two nights we booked because it was too hard to reach the toilet at night. If you’re into basic camping, this is your spot; it’s not “glamping”.
