The place is in a perfect spot, the staff communication was great, and breakfast was excellent. The palazzo looks beautiful inside and out. If you plan to drive, get a small car because the car‑park entrance is quite narrow – we fit, but just barely.

Arriving at the palazzo with its hanging vines was the beginning of a wonderful stay. It sits on the main street, and our room was large with a balcony overlooking the streets below. The rooftop terrace was amazing! We bought a bottle of wine from a shop across the street and spent the evening there while a concert played at the venue next door.

The location was fantastic, as was breakfast. The room was great, though it took a bit of effort to get the temperature right. The rooftop garden and bar were lovely.

It’s a stylish property right in the town centre and definitely had the wow factor for me. The lady at reception was charming and helpful. I would have preferred a room with a view of the courtyard.
