The hotel is perfect for a family holiday, especially with kids. The location is great, close to several ski lifts, and the staff run a very competent kids’ program that keeps the day varied and engaging. Next to the hotel there's a playland that’s especially exciting for slightly older children (3‑8 years), a small petting zoo, a nice pool area, and even a cool climbing wall. From the hotel you can borrow everything from toboggans and bobs to bicycles with trailers or child sleds. The rooms are incredibly cozy and tastefully decorated, and the whole operation feels run with love, with staff who are very warm. It’s also nice that kids have a playroom in the restaurant area and at the bar, so adults can eat in peace. The buffet was generally fine, offering a good selection and plenty of food for the kids’ hearts. As adults we wished for a bit more quality in the dishes, and sometimes it felt like the service or kitchen didn’t keep up with refilling individual plates. Every evening a kids’ movie played in the bar’s playroom, which we thought was a bit much, since the children were already playing nicely together. Everything else was wonderful!
