Palo Santo Galápagos Hotel

“Excelente!”

The location is great, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach and surrounded by nature. The staff is very attentive. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms look new. With a couple of renovations, it could be one of the best hotels in the Galápagos. There are a couple of excellent restaurants three minutes away for dinner or drinks at night. The pool could be in better condition, and there should be more food and drink options in the future.

The property didn’t have our room, so they tried to give us a much smaller one without refunding the extra cost. The pool was being filled with a garden hose, and the water looked very cloudy.

“Demasiado caro para poca atención.”

The hotel was close to Los Alemanes beach. We didn’t get breakfast on January 1st. No hotel staff were present, leaving us abandoned (I took a photo). Please address that with the owners. I had to ask the staff for refrigeration for water and drinks because the room didn’t have it. The safe was confusing to use; the next day they explained how to use it.
