“Home away from home”
I came for a single night but stayed four because Christine’s hospitality, her knowledge of Réunion, and the calm, quiet vibe were irresistible. Christine, a seasoned world traveler, really knows what guests want and offered great tips for exploring the island. With only one guest room, I had the whole upstairs and bathroom to myself, making the stay feel very private. The room was comfortable and quiet, but I loved the patio off the main living area with its ocean view, table, and sofa—a perfect spot to unwind after a day. What truly made the experience special was Christine herself, who genuinely enjoys getting to know guests and makes you feel at home. The gated parking was a big plus, especially since I rode a scooter around the island. A final tip: Saint‑Leu is THE place on Réunion for paragliding—don’t miss it! I stayed four nights instead of one and would gladly return, though I couldn’t stay any longer.
