Skully's Hostel

The staff were all very friendly, but the walls between shared dorms don’t block noise; it feels like an open sky between rooms, so you can hear your neighbors.

“Ein tolles Erlebnis mit wunderbaren Menschen.”

Everyone working at Skullys was always friendly and approachable, so you never felt like bothering anyone with a question or request. The grounds were nicely set up and had everything you could wish for. We had a great time and would go back to Skullys anytime. The hostel is located relatively far outside the city, so for many activities you either need a taxi or a decent walk. However, Skullys offers plenty of events, so sometimes even city folks have to drive out to Skullys.

The location by the beach is great, but the AC was never turned on during one of the days I stayed. Even though I paid extra for an AC dorm and the AC was eventually on, it was set at 27 °C, matching the ambient temperature, and the remote wasn’t in my possession to adjust it to my liking. Just say no AC and stop charging extra. If you’re a quiet, introverted type who wants to get some work done, there are probably better places. This is purely a party spot.

Everything was clean; the shared rooms were very tidy, the staff were very friendly, and the place had everything promised in the reservation.
